Many of these stories were adapted from materials available from the Tar Heel Reader, an amazing online resource for teachers of secondary level students with significant disabilities. There you will find a wealth of free, easy-to-read, and accessible books on a wide range of topics. These books may be downloaded as slide shows in PowerPoint, Impress, or Flash format.
